These chassis were later marketed (briefly) by Associated. I never thought a minute about the low-cost chassis that he briefly marketed in 1973 to compete with my own cheap chassis as well as those of Jan Limpach. What I was showing in my post is that Lee Gilbert built some extremely elegant main rails on his top-of-the-line that were curving delicately around the motor, as seen in the chassis picture I posted. My whole aim is not to criticize but to help. About the rear section do you mean the outside main rails do not curve around the half rails of the motor box?
